Art Music Denmark is the Danish national organisation for contemporary music, classical, sound art and related genres. Art Music Denmark’s purpose is – in collaboration with the other genre-organisations – to contribute to strengthening and developing the Danish music scenes in Denmark and abroad.

About the position

The selection for Art Music Denmark’s board is done in accordance with Art Music Denmark’s articles of association, according to which certain competences must be represented among the board members. This time, we’re looking for a candidate who is active as a creating or performing musician or artist within the fields of contemporary music, sound art or classical music.

The board member receives an annual fee of DKK 8000 and 4-5 annual meetings as well as an annual full day seminar are held each year.

The final selection is made by Art Music Denmark’s current board at a meeting in March 2024. The selection is for four years: 2024-2027.
