As an actor within Art Music Denmark’s genre areas; contemporary music, classical and sound art, you can apply for international travel support at the Tilskud til international transport. The pool covers transport costs for Danish actors’ activities abroad, as well as foreign actors’ activities in Denmark. The funds for the pool come from the Danish Arts Foundation.
The other Danish national music organisations JazzDanmark, ROSA and Tempi also have their international travel support pools.
Apply for national travel support for Danish actors’ activities in Denmark (such as a Danish tour etc.) via The National Transport Aid. The aid supports professional artists in all genres. Jazz Danmark* administers the aid on behalf of all the Danish national music organisations and in agreement with the Danish Arts Foundation.

We receive so many submissions with every application round, that the total funds applied for exceeds the funding pool earmarked by the Danish Arts Foundation for the support. We are therefore unable to approve every application.
The other Danish national music organisations
JazzDanmark: Jazz and related genres
ROSA: pop, rock, electronica and related genres
Tempi: roots, folk and world music
Applications are processed by Art Music Denmark’s Music Committee and a response regarding an outcome can be expected within 4 weeks after the application deadline. The committee consists of four externally–appointed members of Art Music Denmark’s board, and includes a performer, creator, curator and intermediary.
Digital Manager and Process Developer, Thinh Duc Tran, manages the travel support and is the secretary for the Music Committee.
Funds for the international travel support are supplied by the Danish Arts Foundation and administered, managed and distributed by the Danish national music organisations JazzDanmark, ROSA, Tempi and Art Music Denmark.
In accordance with agreements made with the Danish Arts Foundation’s Committee for Music Project Funding, the national music organisations are responsible for administering support for international music development within the organisations’ music genre areas.
JazzDanmark, ROSA, Tempi, Art Music Denmark and the Danish Arts Foundation’s Committee for Music Project Funding are in ongoing dialogue to ensure optimal application conditions.
