The Augustinus Foundation is a long-standing supporter of art music. With support from the foundation, we have in recent years been able to realize international residencies and “Lydskatten i Musikhuset” – a project focused on the communication and preservation of the cultural heritage of sound art.

These months, we are working on a number of initiatives, all supported by The Augustinus Foundation: our talent program for classical musicians, Tutti #2 – a network focused on audience development, and two studies of the ecosystems of art music: one on the development of Danish music journalism, and another on the mobility of art music in the Øresund Region.

Last but not least, The Augustinus Foundation has now also chosen to support the further development of Art Music Denmark’s residency programs, which over the next three years will offer professional residencies around the world for an increasing number of artists each year.
