Are you dreaming of touring Japan – or just curious about how it actually works in practice? Come and learn what it takes to plan and carry out a tour in Japan, and gain insight into the experiences and considerations you often only encounter along the way.

Art Music Denmark invites you to an informal knowledge-sharing afternoon, where we exchange experiences, ask questions, and learn together.

The afternoon will feature two presentations by artists with first-hand experience from their 2025 tours:

  • Anja Nedremo (saxophonist and consultant at Art Music Denmark)
  • Halvcirkel (Danish string trio)

There will be plenty of opportunities for dialogue and to ask both practical and open-ended questions – including those you might not know who else to ask.

We’ll wrap up the afternoon with pizza, sake, and networking in a relaxed, informal setting.

Date: March 4, 2026
Time: 17:00–19:30
Location: Art Music Denmark, Admiral Gjeddes Gaard, Store Kannikestræde 10A, 1169 Copenhagen

The event is free but requires registration as space is limited: REGISTRATIONLINK

We look forward to an exciting and inspiring afternoon!

About BACKSTAGE

BACKSTAGE is a recurring series where artists gain practical insights into working internationally. Each session focuses on a specific theme and combines practical information, first-hand experiences, and opportunities to connect.

Sessions typically include short presentations, followed by time for discussion and informal networking. Each edition explores a new topic or area of practice, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how things really work.
