The year is drawing to a close, and at Art Music Denmark, we can look back on an eventful year filled with residencies, visitor programs, workshops and much more!

Today, Art Music Denmark releases our 2024 annual report. Our activities have been diverse, and as always, we have worked to support our broad range of genre areas in the best possible way, focusing on the types of initiatives most in demand within the fields of classical music, contemporary composition and sound art.

This year, we have supported projects including the further development and restaging of works, an international music academy, national and international residencies, an investigative report and networking events with the Danish chamber music associations, presentations of Danish sound art in Paris, Nordic networking activities, panel discussions, artistic work on sustainability and much more. Additionally, we have continued to provide travel grants and guidance to numerous musicians, composers and professionals within our genre areas.
