Would you like your work to be performed at a major international festival for contemporary music? The ISCM World New Music Days Festival 2026 will take place in Bucharest, Romania, from May 23–31, and you can now submit your work free of charge through Art Music Denmark – the Danish section of ISCM.

About the Festival
ISCM (International Society for Contemporary Music) is a global network for new music, comprising over 50 member countries. Since 1923, the festival has toured major cities around the world, and in 2026, it arrives in Bucharest. This year’s theme is Columna Infinita, named after the famous sculpture by Romanian artist Constantin Brâncuși, whose 150th anniversary is celebrated in 2026.

NB: Works under 10 minutes long and composed after 2015 (preferably after 2020) will be prioritised.
Selection and Practical Information
ISCM Young Composer Award
If your work is selected and you are under 35 years old, you will automatically be considered for the ISCM Young Composer Award. The winner gets a monetary prize and a commission for a new piece to be performed at a future edition of the ISCM World New Music Days.
Alternative Submission Option
