Art Music Denmark, Music Finland and Iceland Music are excited to announce a new collaborative project named “Tourbus Nordic – Piloting Data-Driven Artist Segmentation and the Nordic Music Data Network”.
Building on a successful pilot in 2025 in Denmark and Sweden, Art Music Denmark, Music Finland, and Iceland Music are partnering with the Swedish music data specialists Tourbus AB to grow the project further.
Using data collected from artist and venue websites, the project builds a new, data-driven view of how careers develop, who artists work with, and how they move across borders. The result will be a more precise picture of Nordic musical life, informing how we advise artists, design funding programmes, and measure their impact over time.
Tourbus Nordic is a partnership between Art Music Denmark, Music Finland and Iceland Music. The project is generously supported by the Nordic Culture Fund.
