The workshop series “Community of Practice” is now open for registrations as well as applications for presenting one’s own projects about sustainability in the music industry.

Together with Initiative Neue Musik / field notes and a group of other collaborators, Art Music Demark contributes to the realisation of a workshop series about sustainability in the contemporary art music scenes. You can now register for the respective workshops for free as well as apply for giving a presentation of your own work within the topic. Selected applicants will be paid for their presentations.

Interest in sustainable development and its many interwoven ecological, social and economic dimensions has increased significantly in the cultural sector in recent years. For this reason, inm / field notes is continuing the series of workshops on developing skills in the field of sustainability for players in the contemporary music scene together with the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation, the Goethe-Institut, Impuls neue Musik, the Musikfonds, ON Cologne and Art Music Denmark.

Apply for presenting your work about sustainability
It’s now possible to apply for the possibility to give a presentation of your work with sustainability within the themes of the respective workshops. The presentation should be 15 minutes and in English. Applicants are paid a fee of 100 €  for their presentations. Send your application as well as any questions you may have to info@field-notes.berlin.

See an overview of the different workshops and deadlines for applications below in this post.
