From the beginning of 2024, Art Music Denmark has begun a new collaboration with Jacob Gades Legat. The collaboration is about secretary and administrative assistance. Jacob Gades Legat and Art Music Denmark have a lot in common and thus it makes good sense to collaborate for both parties.
Like Art Music Denmark, Jacob Gades Legat engages actively in supporting and developing musical environments. There’s a coinciding interest in both talent-development as well as in supporting the musical communities and therefore a strong synergy between our purposes and projects.
Holger Bisgaard, Head of Jacob Gades Legat’s board, says about the new collaboration:
“Jacob Gades Legat has a long history of working with the ecosystem in the classical music environment in Denmark. This history fits fine with Art Music Denmark’s work, so we’re looking forward to a fruitful collaboration.”
Jacog Gades Legat was established in 1961 and its purpose is to strengthen the ecosystem in the Danish music scene. They’re doing this by giving out grants to talented young musicians. Jacob Gades Legat also runs the foundation’s prestigious talent program for musicians in the age range 12-19 years, with the purpose of raising the standard and maintaining the interest in playing classical music.
