In his artistic work, Aske Zidore examines the human experience through the landscape – not only in the external environment but to a large extent through its memory. This approach challenges perceptions of reality and opens up new ways of understanding it. He uses a multimedia approach that, among other things, includes sound, performance, digital media and installations, to create connections between the physical and the digital, the natural and the man-made, memory and the present. During ISCM in Lisbon in 2025, he will present his work ‘Center of Life’ at MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology.

What’s ISCM World Music Days?

ISCM (International Society for Contemporary Music) is a worldwide association and network for new music and includes more than 50 countries. The association held ISCM World New Music Days for the first time in Salzburg in 1923, and since then the project has travelled annually between major cities all over the globe.

ISCM World New Music Days 2025 will take place in Lisbon and Porto from 30 May to 7 June 2025. The Portuguese section, Miso Music Portugal, organises the event, which is held in conjunction with the Música Viva festival.
