Danish New Music Academy
Danish New Music Academy is a five-day course held in Aarhus in July 2022.

International visitor program – KLANG-Festival
In collaboration with Edition-S and Wilhelm Hansen, a visitor program for international industry guests was held in Denmark in June 2022. It had a particular focus on industry guests from Germany and the rest of Europe.

Historisk Lydskat (Historic Sound Treasures)
In collaboration with STRØM and the Danish Composer’s Society, we developed a project to ensure conservation and sharing of works from older Danish electro-acoustic composers.

Komponistkollektivet (The composer’s collective) 
Composer and project manager Lil Lacy has developed a new meeting place for composers across genres.

Showcase and networking with Creative Europe Desk
A showcase and networking meeting was developed in collaboration with the Danish Palaces and Culture Agency and Creative Europe Desk Denmark, with the aim of highlighting EU funding opportunities for professionals in the Danish music sector.

VÆKST at Musikhuset København (Music House Copenhagen)
Art Music Denmark has entered into a close partnership with the association Musikhuset København for 2022-2023 called VÆKST. The partnership focuses on several initiatives to bring musicians to Musikhuset’s exciting location in Vesterbro, Copenhagen.

Art in Action
Art Music Denmark is part of the European project Art in Action, which fundraises for a large collaborative project which will create new opportunities for both education and performance.

Month of Contemporary Music – Berlin
As part of Art Music Denmark’s cross-border project NEUSTART, we are partnering with the initiative Neue Musik Berlin on several initiatives in Berlin during September 2022. This includes international visitor programs, conferences, and more.

New work for Domen Aarhus
As part of Art Music Denmark’s cross-border project NEUSTART, we are collaborating with Aarhus Festival to create a new musical work for the cultural centre Domen Aarhus, developed by both a Danish and German sound artist. The work will premiere during the Aarhus Festival.

Art in Action

Bang on Can
Art Music Denmark collaborates with the New Yorker composer collective Bang on a Can to be able to offer a Danish composer or musician a three-week residency at Bang on a Can's summer festival at the Museum of Modern Art in Massachusetts, USA. The aim is to support development and exchange between young Danish talents and international musicians and actors.

Cité internationale des Arts
Art Music Denmark collaborates with the French Institute, Cite Internationale des Arts Paris on a 3-month residency for classical musicians in Paris. The aim is to support the international ambitions of the classical players and help to increase their skills.

Dansk Danseteater

Den marokkanske ambassade
Art Music Denmark has started a collaboration with the Moroccan embassy in Denmark. The purpose is to develop short- and long-term agreements on the exchange of artists and musicians between Morocco and Denmark.

Elvermose Klassiske Koncerter
Art Music Denmark collaborates with Elvermose Klassiske Koncerter on the creation of an international residency for classical musicians.

Frequenz Festival
The purpose of the collaboration is to build new networks and create new opportunities for artists in Denmark and Northern Germany.

Fundacion Valparaiso
Art Music Denmark collaborates with Fundacion Valparaiso on a 2-week residency for professional classical musicians in Mojácar, Almería in southern Spain. Based on classical musicians' need for intense practice periods and international networks, the project offers classical musicians the opportunity for a stay with a focus on high professionalism and immersion.

Genreorganisationerne
The Danish national music organisations are Art Music Denmark, Jazz Denmark, Tempi and ROSA. The four organisations collaborate closely on data development, administration and international exchange. A more detailed description of the collaboration can be seen in the organisations' annual reports.

ISCM (International Socitey for Contemporary Music)
Art Music Denmark is the Danish section of ISCM, which is the worldwide association and network for new music. In connection with the international festival ISCM World New Music Days, every year Art Music Denmark issues an Open Call for works by Danish composers to be performed at the festival.

Klimaklang
Klimaklang is a new Copenhagen based festival. Art Music Denmark collaborates with the festival on e.g. their green dissemination program.

Month of Contemporary Music - Berlin
Together with Initiativ Neue Musik Berlin, we organise a tailor-made visiting program for the festival Month of Contemporary Music Berlin in September. At the same time, Art Music Denmark and Initiativ Neue Musik collaborates on a number of other networking and exchange initiatives between Denmark and Berlin.

Art Music Denmark collaborates with Musikhuset Copenhagen on a number of different projects, which are part of the Musikhuset VÆKST residency program, as well as dissemination of the project.

Nikolaj Kunsthal
Art Music Denmark collaborated with Nikolaj Kunsthal on a symposium in connection with the exhibition "Interference". We entered as a sparring partner in terms of ideas and focus for the symposium, and also contributed to the development of the content by suggesting presenters for it.

Repertoirestatestikken
Since 2018, Art Music Denmark has regularly published repertoire statistics on music played in Danish concert halls, opera houses and festivals. The reports are published in collaboration with the Danish Composers Association, Edition-S, Edition Wilhelm Hansen and Danish Music Publishers.

Strøm
There is collaboration on a number of activities that fall under the overall project "Lydskatten"- Among other things, Art Music Denmark helped present a birthday celebration and concert series with Gunner Møller Pedersen in February 2023.
