Elvermose Classical Concerts on Lolland has hosted Danish and international musicians for more than 40 years. In addition to playing concerts in Elvermose’s unique concert hall, many have also enjoyed Elvermose as a workplace for musicians who need peace for practice and development.

As something new, Elvermose collaborates with Art Music Denmark and Ensemble Storstrøm to bring even more Danish and international musicians the benefit of a residency at Elvermose.

If you are a classical musician, representative(s) of an ensemble, composer or otherwise associated with the classical music environment in Denmark or abroad, you can now apply for a residency of 5-7 of days  duration. The stays must take place between November 2023 – February 2024.

If you are granted a residency, you will also receive:

  • Access to private bedroom (max 3 pers. for individual room)
  • Access to concert and practice facilities, including tuned grand piano
  • Diet in the form of breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Offer to meet the local music scene in collaboration with Ensemble Storstrøm

In return, we expect you:

  • Are working professionally, e.g. rehearsing for a concert
  • Present your work to Elvermose’s audience, either in the form of a workshop concert, artist talk or other open format

Artists are responsible for their own transport to and from Elvermose.

Application deadline: ongoing

UPDATE: Unfortunately, we currently don’t accept any more applicatoins.

Your application will be processed by Maj Kullberg, representative from Art Music Denmark’s Music Committee and Ensemble Manager in Ensemble Storstrøm in collaboration with Elvermose.
