As part of our effort with supporting the international dialogue and developing Danish-German collaborations with the project NEUSTART, Art Music Denmark organised a public event on May 26 with presentations by the German regional organisations inm – Initiative Neue Musik Berlin and VAMH Hamburg.
At the event, representatives from the two organisations, Lisa Benjes and Heiner Metzger, told about how they work with supporting art music in Berlin and Hamburg respectively, with a focus on developing the local scene and thematic efforts such as sustainability. The ambition with the meeting was to offer an opportunity to Danish actors from the music industry to get a better sense of the German music scene and eventually shed some light on possible ways to begin creating international projects.
